How Fair works.

Fair is an umbrella over 38 products that share one account, one wallet, and one pricing principle: cost-plus. This page explains the model. Each product has its own deeper docs at fair<product>.ai/docs.

1. Quick start

  1. Create an account at tryfair.ai. One sign-up gives you access to every Fair product.
  2. Add funds to your wallet. \$5 minimum, no expiration. The same wallet funds every product you use.
  3. Pick a tool — sign a doc with FairSign, scrape a page with FairCrawl, send an email with FairMail. Every operation draws from the wallet at the published per-unit rate.

2. The pricing model

Every Fair product charges cost-plus — our infrastructure cost (compute, storage, third-party APIs, support, R&D, overhead) plus a small margin. We publish the math. When AWS drops a price, we drop ours.

The result: you pay per use, never per seat. A team of 10 sending 1,000 emails a month pays for 1,000 emails, not 10 seats.

See the per-product rates on /pricing.

3. The wallet

One wallet funds every product. \$1 minimum top-up. Top-ups under \$10 include the Stripe processing fee; top-ups of \$10 or more absorb that fee on our side. Adding a card gets you a \$1 welcome credit. Balances never expire.

Light month? Small bill. Nothing this month? \$0.

4. The quality gate

Every metered operation passes through a hold/settle/void gate. We hold the cost against your wallet at request time, settle on success, void on failure. If a product can't deliver, you pay \$0. Receipts show the gate decision.

5. The product list

See every Fair product on the products page. Each product has its own subdomain (fairsign.ai, fairmail.ai, etc.) with deeper docs at /docs on that subdomain.

6. The API

Every Fair product is API-first. One Bearer token works across every product. See /api for an overview, or jump to a specific product's API at fair<product>.ai/api.
