The origin
The idea started with a simple observation: most SaaS tools cost 10-200x more than their infrastructure. A signature costs $0.02 to process, but DocuSign charges $10/month. An email costs $0.0001 to send, but Mailchimp charges $13/month for 500 contacts. The gap between what these tools cost to run and what they charge is enormous -- and it is growing every year.
Fair exists to fill that gap. Every product charges infrastructure cost plus a small margin. Full pro features from the first use. No tiers, no plans, no feature gating.
